Dataset Description
3D dataset for the Woolen Mills Chapel, Charlottesville, Virginia; located in the Woolen Mills Historic District in eastern Charlottesville; originally constructed ca. 1887 for main building; annex constructed ca. 1908; Virginia Department of Historic Resources register #104-0237; data collected in collaboration with Preservation Piedmont who became owners of the building in 2024;

Notes 3D data was collected using FARO Focus 3D laser scanners, models S120, X130, S70, S150; exterior data collected 2024-03-22, main interior data collected 2024-09-18 by University of Virginia Architectural History class ARH5600 during Fall 2024; data for the western entry hall was collected 2024-07-20 prior to the removal of the entry archway; attic was scanned on 2025-05-26; data registered and processed with FARO Scene v. 2023.0.1; data processed, edited, optimized and exported with Autodesk ReCap v. 2024;
