Dataset Description
Shenandoah Valley Region (SVR) household neighborhood network database. The database contains 3 networks for the SVR region -- houses within 1 mile, 3 miles, 4 miles network.
Subject Computer and Information Science
Notes UVA Biocomplexity Institute generated synthetic population for state of Virginia, U.S. according to 2009 census. Once synthetic households are generated, depending upon the distance between households, three networks are generated which describe which and how many households are present in a 1-mile, 3-mile, and 4-mile radius. The network graphs are very big, so we store the graphs in SQLite database for ease of querying.
